In the late 80’s and early 90’s David Sr. had an approach to bring his added value citrus to the marketplace, being forward promoting bags vs. 40# bulk cartons.

David spent countless hours working to perfect his bagging techniques making his operations competitive throughout the country, hand packing and then over to the carousel(mechanical) bagger.

The carousel bagger was traditionally used in the potato industry for packing and David thought this was a great idea to use when packing citrus. With a few mechanical and technical adjustments it paved the wave for Golden Star Citrus bagging operations.

Moving through the Millennium Golden Star is known for their bags with major retailers across the nation and known for their labels in multiple countries.
